The FBI Honors Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship program specifically made for undergraduate and graduate students. The program is offered in all the Field Offices as well as in Washington DC headquarters. The students from various academic backgrounds join together and work alongside the FBI workforce. The FBI Honors Internship Application begins in the month of August. The candidates who have a bachelor’s degree who are currently enrolled in the full-time graduate program are paid at GS-5 (General Schedule), which is $14.57 – $18.95 per hour. All other interns are paid at GS-4, which is $13.03 – $16.93 per hour.

The ORISE Visiting Scientist program is an internship program designed by combining education and training to connect the internet and the FBI laboratory. The FBI laboratory is one of the most OK crime labs and has resolved many cases. Since 1982 the Lab’s Research Unit has invited the college and postgraduate students and faculty members to research their workspace. This FBI forensic science internship encourages the participants to perform research in their field of interest that can contribute to the development of law enforcement and national security matter.

They enhance their forensic science researches by using state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
