Honors Internship Program

The FBI Honors Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship program specifically made for undergraduate and graduate students. The program is offered in all the Field Offices as well as in Washington DC headquarters. The students from various academic backgrounds join together and work alongside the FBI workforce. The FBI Honors Internship Application begins in the month of August. The candidates who have a bachelor’s degree who are currently enrolled in the full-time graduate program are paid at GS-5 (General Schedule), which is $14.57 – $18.95 per hour. All other interns are paid at GS-4, which is $13.03 – $16.93 per hour.

To apply for Honor Internship Program, the candidate must fulfill the following requirements:

General Requirements

  • The candidate must be a US citizen
  • Must be enrolled in a full-time College/University program as an undergraduate, graduate, or post-doctoral student. Students who arena enrolled will not be qualified unless they are starting their continuing in the coming semester.
  • The minimum GPA is 3.0, and it should be maintained throughout the internship program.

Other grade requirements are following:

  • 3.0 GPA high school GPA
  • 1500 out of 2400 on the SAT II
  • 1000 out of 1600 on new SATs
  • 21 or higher at ACT
  • Must pass all the background investigation and gain clearance.
